During the first seven months of 2014 1’442 thousand tons of oil products had been transhipped in AS VENTBUNKERS terminal.
AS VENTBUNKERS has achieved good results in transhipping, the dark oil products in the first seven months of 2014 by increasing transhipment volume by 12% in comparison to the volume transhipped within the same period last year. In total 1’292 thousand tons of the dark oil products had been transhipped (fuel oil and vacuum gasoil) during the first seven months of 2014.
In the dark oil products transhipment field a stable increase has occurred already in the first and second quarters when transhipment volume reached 610 thousand tons exceeding the amount transhipped during the same period last year by 27%.
Starting the end of 2013 AS VENTBUNKERS has intensively worked on development of the light oil products transhipment technology at the terminal and searched for the light oil products transhipment clients. Cooperation agreement has been concluded in the beginning of the year, which provides storage and transhipment of bulk light oil products at AS VENTBUNKERS tank farm.
