JSC VENTBUNKERS accepts for purification the following kinds of wastewater contaminated by oil products:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 tanker ballast;<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 cargo tank washing waste;<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 engine room sludge water.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 industrial wastewater:<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 industrial wastewater from JSC VENTBUNKERS terminal;<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 industrial wastewater from other terminals (delivered by truck).<\/p>\n

The maximum speed of simultaneous wastewater intake from berths is 600 cubic meters per hour. At present purification facility\u2019s capacity is up to 20\u2019000 cubic meters of contaminated wastewater per day. Capacity of wastewater purification facility is 600 thousand cubic meters per year.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Type of purification facility: mechanical, physically-chemical (flotation), sorption in coal filters. Polyelectrolyte is used as flocculants in wastewater purification facility.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Operations of wastewater purification complex are provided employing 7 tanks with total capacity of 33’200 cubic meters and 8 filtering sections with the upper layer \u2013 mesoporous anthracite coal and the bottom layer – the sand.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 wastewater intake by pipelines;<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 wastewater mechanical settling;<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 treatment of water component (flotation);<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 water filtration (absorption);<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 filtered water discharge into the Baltic Sea.<\/p>\n

Contaminated wastewater is accepted considering average limits of contamination concentrations. Main contaminating component of all incoming wastewater is oil products. Wastewater accepted for purification contains maximum concentration of polluting products:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 suspended substances 600 milligrams per litre;<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 biological oxygen demand 150 milligrams per litre;<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 chemical oxygen demand 6\u2019000 milligrams per liter;<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 total nitrogen 15 milligrams per liter;<\/p>\n
